Bowlin Camps pondBowlin Camps is proud to offer authentic Maine bear hunting, deer hunting, bird hunting, moose hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and Maine family vacations. We have been in continuous operation serving all hunters and outdoor enthusiasts since 1895. We are a full service sporting camp and are open year round. Located only 30 miles from Patten, Maine,  Bowlin is isolated on the river with no other camps within a day’s hike. Located in the heart of some of the best hunting in northern Maine, we are happy to accommodate whatever you are looking for in a Maine vacation!

At Bowlin, we also offer canoeing and kayaking trips along the Penobscot River. We are located on the scenic east branch of the Penobscot River, just east of Baxter State Park, in the heart of the Maine wilderness. Enjoy a unique vacation in the woods of Maine, hiking, camping, mountain biking, kayaking, archery, tubing, snorkeling, swimming, and so much more! Bowlin offers a true wilderness experience without sacrificing comfort. Our staff will work hard to ensure you have an enjoyable and safe stay in the “Big Woods of Maine.” We are proud of our rich history and tradition and we look forward to sharing it with you.
