Cabins

Our cabins, some dating back to 1895, are superbly maintained and are picturesquely set overlooking the Penobscot river. They accommodate 2 to 9 and all are equipped with gas and electric lights, bathroom with shower, and wood heat. Three of the cabins have kitchens stocked with pots pans and utensils. The charm and elegance of these cabins will lure you back year after year. The sound of the river running just outside makes for the best night's rest  you'll ever have.

American Plan: meals and lodging included

The American Plan includes three meals a day and all of your linen and towels. Meals are served in the dining room of the main lodge. Hearty, home cooked meals utilizing fresh vegetables and meats are our specialty and are served family style. Great food, outstanding service, and facilities that take you to a time gone by are what make Bowlin Camps famous in Maine.

Housekeeping Plan: Lodging only

We have three cabins that have fully equipped kitchens (no refrigerator) for those who wish to prepare their own meals. The Housekeeping plan also includes all of your towels and linen.
